More, more - we want more ... warshrags!

I could get addicted to these things. One down, tons more to go! I'm thinking little Christmas gifts with a nice bar of soap ... hmmm.

THIS was given to me by my dear mother-in-law for my birthday. I've been drooling over it each time she and I go to her LYS. Time to fill it UP! Plus it looks really cute in our living room.

BTW, does anyone out there (besides you SP8;)) read this blog? I don't know how to get a counter working and I sometimes wonder if I'm talking to myself here.

not only do i read your blog, i also subscribe to it! i follow various blogs for as many reasons, and i follow yours because 1) your content keeps my interest and 2) i think of you as "local", as i too live in n.c., though not in the same area code.

ps. the toy book from a previous post ....i do not own the book, but after seeing a friend's copy, i will definitely buy it!

I was reading in your archives. Did you take a picture of the baby blanket you were knitting? I made this blanket too. I'd love to see it in Artyarns!

As someone told me when I started knitting "warshrags"...."oh no, you've come over to the dark side!" Better get started on those Christmas cloths!

You should try the bag...there are many projects in that book that I want to try...I haven't been able to snag a Mason Dixon book at my lys but I'm ordering one off amazon this weekend

I did venture to Purls and Yarn Paradise. They are both totally different from the 2 in Savannah. I love how Purls is arranged by color. It throws you off for a second but in a good way. In Yarn Paradise, I think that I made the ladies in there nervous. They were a little snobby but I had been in the store before. I was a little disappointed in the sock yarn selection at both stores. I would have thought that the selection would have been more. Maybe I missed shipments! Nevertheless I love Asheville...its so crafty!

Wow, what a gift! Great MIL.

I love those dishrags; I have tons of Sugar & Cream, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I think it would be safe to say that lots of MDK-KALers read each others blogs. I found yours from MDKKAL. We (daugher & I) were thinking of getting that same basket stand, one you got from MIL, for our stash. Well, for some of it. Very nice! My blog is lagging--can't figure out how to make blogger behave and work each time, AND having tech problems-like had camera issues and then had to get repairs on the computer--Apple just installed a new optical drive. Whew and geeze. Now back to trying to figure out blogger. With all this nonsense going on--it eats into my time for knitting, know what I mean?
