And, I just hit the sale at my LYS and got four skeins of Rowan Tapestry. I think this will make a lovely pair of mittens. I hope four skeins is enough. I'm thinking about trying the Flap-Top mittens from Handknit Holidays. Has anyone tried this pattern?

Good intentions

I had every intention of taking some pics of my latest knitting projects last night. BUT, it didn't happen.

I started the newsboy cap from SNB Nation. I'm new to cables so this should be interesting. However, I did find some good instructions at www.dummies.com.

STILL slaving away at the baby blanket. How lame is it that it's not finished? I have about 4-5 inches by my latest calculations.

Look. I FINISHED something!

I said I was going to knit this hat, and I did. Only took about three hours of knitting. YIPPEE! I needed to finish a project before I could face another baby blanket row! Only 3/4 of that blanket left ... I CAN DO IT.



Also, I'm dying to try Socks that rock yarn. Check out this FAB color way:
